Sibline Company organized a trip on Sunday, October 10, 2021, to Chouf Cedar Reserve, in which the employees participated with their families. During the visit, they walked inside the Barouk Cedar Reserve and planted cedar under the name of the company. Then the employees participated with the farmers at Nabeh Al Safa in picking and tasting the apples to celebrate the National Day of the Lebanese apple on October 5. This trip comes as part of the company's endeavor to strengthen and reinforce social communication between the employees and its belief in supporting the local community through social activities that positively affect everyone. SIBLINE gives special attention to green spaces, starting 2002 our strategy was to plant different kind of trees (Olives, pins, citrus…) within the factory and its surroundings. After some years of caring and follow up, this year as part of SIBLINE CSR initiatives and to enhance the collaboration value, we harvested the olives, we pressed them and distributed the olive oil obtained in small bottles to all departments within the factory

Sibline celebrates Eid Al-Adha with the elderly at Dar Al-Ataa - Jiyeh. The elderly, who means a lot to us, need care and love, and being with them on Adha Eid is a sincere expression of our love and our responsibility towards them. In the spirit of Eid al-Adha and as part of SIBLINE ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility program, we organized a celebration day at Dar Al-Ata Elderly - Jiyeh - that was attended by twenty elderly women in the presence of the Dar’s employees and Sibline’s employees. The celebration included a lot of activities, music and entertainment to bring joy to the hearts of the elderly at Dar Al-Ata. In addition, they participated in planting trees inside the campus. At the end simple gifts and roses were distributed to them and everybody joined the luncheon.

As part of Sibline’s ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility program and initiatives. 200 students from the schools of the region surrounding the factory of SIBLINE were invited to spend our event: “Green is a Fun Day”, on May 3rd.2019. The day was full of fun and environmental awareness activities where students and teachers enjoyed competitions, environmental games, planting trees, innovative technology for waste treatment, music entertainment, Science show, and much more. At the end of the day, prizes were distributed to all participants. The National Beach Cleanup Campaign organized by the Ministry of Environment on Sunday 9th of June 2019. Sibline is proud to be part of the National Beach Cleanup Campaign to save the face and convey a cleaner image of Lebanon and giving the best image about SIBLINE. 100 employees from Sibline with their families participated on June 9th to clean the Rmeileh- Shouf beach and spread the word about Sibline’s cause. As Lebanese citizens Sibline’s employees are committed to contribute at all environmental activities to ensure a clean environment for them and for the future generations.

To ensure a better world for the future, we strive to work toward the environmental education for tomorrow’s generation through workshops and plant visits’ privileges it has given to thousands of students from the schools of the region. The visits are informative and give the students a close look at the factory and presents it as an environmentally friendly place.

Green roofs and Gardens have been executed at two schools, the green roof is a vegetative layer grown in pots on a rooftop. It provides shade and remove heat from the air through evaporate transpiration, reducing temperatures of the roof surface and the surrounding air. (One was implemented in 2016 and one in 2017).
